Plans are being considered to close the iconic Victoria Coach Station and move it to Royal Oak. The idea is meeting substantial local opposition but it could be a boost to those able to get to Paddington easily.
Victoria Coach Station opened in the 1930’s and averages 40 million visitors annually. It is part owned by TFL and Grosvenor estates and could free up a substantial development opportunity for the Victoria area. No final decisions are expected for this for some while yet.
